Thank you for taking the time to learn about us.

Central Baptist Church is a church where we hope you will truly feel at home. We are a family church, on the move, with a heart for history and a passion for mission.

We worship every Sunday at 10:45am

Who are Baptists?

As a baptist church, family is an integral part of church life. We believe that the church is not a particular place but rather a family of believers committed to Christ, to one another and to the service of God in the world.

Baptist churches appoint their own ministers to have particular responsibility for preaching, leading etc. At Central Baptist Church, we have a group of dedicated elected deacons who provide leadership roles. More information on this aspect can be found here.

We belong to the East Midlands Baptist Association (EMBA) and to the wider Baptist Union of Great Britain. We believe in living together as a community, both in the local and national church. More information can be found on the Baptist Union of Great Britain website.
