So the summer holidays are drawing to a close, the days are beginning to get shorter. Not much to look forward to now right? Wrong! September is a very busy month in the life of the church, and here's a little bit of what you can expect:
Leicestershire Heritage Open Days / Ride and Stride- 9th/10th September
We're once again opening our doors for this years Heritage Open Days. If you've always wondered what we look like on the inside then come along Friday 9th September and Saturday 10th September and take a look around (from approximately 9:30am). We'll also be a destination for those taking part in the Ride and Stride event, where we'll be offering light refreshments for riders (and striders!) taking part in this years event. For more information about the heritage open days click here and for more information about the ride and stride click here.
The Big Welcome - Sunday 18th September
We're delighted to be hosting a Big Welcome service at CBC on Sunday 18th September! Led by friend of the church Craig Sweeny-Essex, this accessible service is designed to allow anyone who is unsure on church, or has stopped going to church, to show what it is that we're about as Christians. We'd love to welcome you on the 18th at 10:45am! Please don't hesitate to make yourself known to a steward.
The Social Space- Film night (Date TBC)
We're reintroducing the Social Space! The Social Space is an event where we get together with our friends from the Centre Project. We'll be kicking it off with a film night, and more details will follow.
Keep a look out on our social media sites for more information and for other events that may be happening in the future!
