Worship with us at Central
Worship is an integral part of our services. We currently have two worship groups and an organist, who play a wide variety of hymns and songs.
Come along at 10:45 this Sunday.
What's it like on a Sunday morning?
Our services follow a relaxed order of service. We spend some time worshiping before hearing the Word of God. Some more worship is followed by the sermon from our guest speaker. After the service, light refreshments are served in the Victoria Lounge, adjacent to the main church building. We encourage visitors to stay and make themselves known to a steward!
Children and young people are an integral part of Central Baptist Church. During the service, there will be opportunity for young people to leave to their own activities.
We encourage all members and attendees to get involved on a Sunday morning and us their God given gifts. This can be done in a variety of ways, ranging from serving tea and coffee to helping with Sunday morning worship. If you think you might be interested in helping then please do speak to a steward.
As Christians, we don't just worship God on a Sunday. At Central Baptist, our small groups and bible studies are set up and run by church members and attendees. We encourage those who worship with us to attend a small group or bible study. We have a wide variety of groups to choose from!
At Central Baptist Church we're a family church, and students are a part of our family. We have established a healthy student population from both the University of Leicester and De Montfort University due to the closeness to both campuses. We currently don't have a student group, but if you'd like to set one up then please speak to someone.
